July Chamber of Commerce Luncheon

🇺🇸 As we prepare to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America this Independence Day, it’s also important to remember those who have borne the invisible wounds of defending our freedoms.

Yesterday was National PTSD Awareness Day, a reminder that while many veterans return home, not all of them leave the battlefield behind. PTSD affects countless combat veterans, first responders, and others who have served our nation and communities with courage.

To help bring awareness, education, and hope, the Lavon Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome Kenny Thomas as our featured speaker at our July Membership Luncheon.

Representing the PTSD Foundation of America, Kenny will share how PTSD impacts our veterans, the resources available to those struggling, and how our communities can better support the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
