 Ambassadors play a vital role in connecting members, growing our Chamber, and helping events run smoothly. Please complete the application below.

Ambassador Recruiter Responsibilities

As an Ambassador Recruiter, you play a key role in helping the Chamber grow and thrive. Your focus is on welcoming new businesses, building relationships, and connecting members with Chamber opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Member Outreach & Recruitment

    • Actively promote Chamber membership to local businesses and organizations.

    • Share the benefits of Chamber membership and answer questions from prospects.

    • Provide leads and referrals to the Chamber staff or board for follow-up.

  2. Onboarding & Welcoming New Members

    • Personally welcome new members through calls, emails, or in-person visits.

    • Introduce new members to other Chamber members at events.

    • Encourage new members to participate in Chamber programs, committees, and events.

  3. Representation & Advocacy

    • Represent the Chamber in the community as a positive and professional advocate.

    • Serve as a visible, friendly face of the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, networking events, and mixers.

    • Share Chamber news, events, and opportunities within your own network.

  4. Tracking & Reporting

    • Provide monthly updates on outreach efforts and new member leads.

    • Track and celebrate new member recruitment successes.

  5. Commitment

    • Dedicate at least 2–3 hours each month toward recruitment and outreach activities.

    • Attend monthly Ambassador meetings and key Chamber events when possible.


Ambassador Event Planner Responsibilities

As an Ambassador Event Planner, you help bring Chamber events to life by ensuring they are well-organized, welcoming, and impactful for members and the community. Your focus is on planning, logistics, and creating engaging experiences.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Event Support & Planning

    • Assist with planning and preparation for Chamber events, including luncheons, networking sessions, after-hours mixers, and quarterly major events.

    • Help brainstorm creative ideas to enhance event themes, participation, and visibility.

    • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve event success.

  2. On-Site Assistance

    • Arrive early to help with setup, registration, signage, and welcoming attendees.

    • Serve as a point of contact for members and guests during events.

    • Assist with event flow, including introducing members, guiding guests, or coordinating volunteers.

  3. Promotion & Engagement

    • Encourage Chamber members and community partners to attend events.

    • Share Chamber events through your business, social media, and community contacts.

    • Invite prospective members to attend as guests.

  4. Follow-Up & Recognition

    • Assist with event wrap-up, clean-up, and evaluations.

    • Provide feedback to Chamber leadership on what worked well and what could be improved.

    • Help ensure sponsors, speakers, and volunteers are properly thanked and recognized.

  5. Commitment

    • Dedicate at least 2–3 hours per month to Chamber events and preparation.

    • Attend monthly Ambassador meetings and participate in at least two Chamber events per quarter.
